My beloved 322Crew,

You’re all probably wondering about the changes. No more Ron Gunz, no more Gunz Crew after 11 years. To give a simple explanation — rebranding. I hated even the thought of it but due to how social media now tends to suppress anything that is a remote reference to guns, this would definitely affect me in terms of algorithms in video platforms and social media. I also grew tired of seeing my brand pop up in conjunction w/artists or performers that are completely irrelevant to who I am or what I do. It was a very difficult choice but one for the long term best. This goes especially in the wake of a favorite YouTube of mine who had to do something similar and change his channel from Oppai Senpai to Anime Explained, all because Oppai is deemed an inappropriate word. It is a side effect of the last 5 years worth of censorship and at times an overstimulated sense of sensitivity to words down to where it isn’t necessary.

Since my last blog entry, much had happened. I ended up taking on the art of video game livestreaming, which I actually enjoy. I managed to complete my guitar pedal rig and thus have no use to purchase any other pedals. I ended up completing a deep dive course w/NASM in respect to Plant Based Dieting, which I was well informed prior to the course and post-course felt a better sense of understanding and discussing the matter. I cleared out some old debt that had hung over my head for a few years.

The last and most important thing that happened since my last entry — taking care of my mental health. I went through a sad breakup during the course of this pandemic, found myself down spiraling to where I sought help for my sanity. I was diagnosed with Recurrent Depressive Disorder and since around July of last year, I had been in therapy. It has led to me opening up to friends I otherwise wouldn’t really open up to but also teaching me the value of drawing boundaries and standing up for myself — two things that I was horrible at enforcing. Sure, I did gain quite some weight in the process but I do believe the dawn is breaking again for me to reclaim my physical health now that my mental health is rehabilitating. I have also officially launched my store here on my website so that all of you may directly support by buying my music directly from my site as the money goes directly to my funds instead of sharing w/any 3rd parties.
