A nice little update for all my 322 Crew — writing for FireFrei #2 has resumed. It’s been months since I sat down to write a single idea into my notebook but this past evening, while recovering from a weird cold, the inspiration came through to do so. One thing that I can disclose is that the story is definitely gonna take a few turns and I’m personally glad the story will bring more to light.
Granted, there are a few things I want my readers to be aware of. While Firebutt #1 definitely was a melee of over-the-top silliness of comedy and action, littered in references to anime and music, expect FireFrei to take a more serious tone but also some more shenanigans as its purpose will be to be more over-the-shoulder of characters involved in each chapter.
Due to complications that happen from the powers of one of the Firebutt members, the world as you knew it gets altered and in effect, also affects Firebutt himself…but in more ways than one. In turn, it will give a “less is more” approach while still opening the door to more chaos in the process. All this and more done (so far) in 4 chapters…and counting…
