5 Everyday Things of Happiness!

What are 5 everyday things that bring you happiness?

You’ve asked and here are my answers, in no particular order!

  1. The softness of my cat Greyjoy’s meow and fluffy body. You know things can go well when he’s near. A natural calm.
  2. My daughter. For all the randomness a neurodivergent child brings along with scrambled hormones courtesy of puberty, she’s a reminder that in the face of lifestyle changes, there’s an opportunity to feed a future adult with emotional assurance, safety and confidence so that they may be a beacon of light to our ever uncertain future.
  3. Books. There’s always something to read, learn from, be amused by all in one. Whether it’s Berserk, Song Of Ice and Fire, Deadpool’s manga, the Bible or The Last Ronin; even if you can’t travel physically into other countries or worlds, books can take you to worlds that even a plane or boat ride can never provide.
  4. Coffee. The ultimate jingle of life. For some, it’s anxiety enhancement but for others, it’s a nice turbo charge to start your day…or night…or whatever.
  5. Music. Pick a soundtrack of a film, video game, anime. Pick an album of a favorite artist or band. It’s great for background noise when writing, creating or editing. It’s also great background filler when working out or going on a commute to work or wherever you please. This is something that brings everyone together.
