To my Gunz Crew,
This is a major update in regards to the Wherever I Feel album. If you ever got my Where My Voice Cannot Speak album, you know that it was just hardly over half hour despite 10 songs. Wherever I Feel would’ve easily touched the same run time at only 8 songs.
As of today, while I was doing some more mixing and also recording some song ideas for the next album, it just hit me — why settle with 30 minutes per album when you can max it out to at least 74 minutes or even 60? I mean come on, it’s not like I’m burning banks down with studio time — my bedroom is my studio and a comfy one at that!
Yeah I know, I had previously announced it to be 7, then 8, mixed and mastered to be ready to distribute later this year — until this blasted realization happened. On top of that, given this, I have an extra 2 songs almost done and mixed, which would thus have me at 10 songs for the album already and at hardly 40 minutes!
As I told someone while I was in NY last week — when starting a project, you can have these expectations and ideas of what it will be and how it’ll pan out — until it begins to take form and when it does, the project begins to breathe a life of its that you did not expect and takes you, before you know it, into a direction you were not anticipating.
So until I can nail between 60-74 minutes total of material, release date will be up in the air but in the meantime, I will be working on more album art while continuing to study for my NASM Personal Trainer Certification.
Until next time,
Ron Gunz
