FireButt Paperback Update

I sat down in my room today reading the first 3 chapters and intro of FireButt and honestly, I’m glad I chose the manga style font. It made reading a breeze and I’m glad I chose the A5 format with 12pt font size and double space. It’s easy on the eyes and you’ll be able to read through.

The book is truly a good time capsule of where I started in 2012 when writing it en route to 2016 when I finished it. I giggled, I laughed and found myself remembering how much fun I had. It has also begun to bring to life certain plot elements I intend to bring full circle in FireFrei. It will be in a very “Remember what happened there? It’s coming full circle now!” kind of way.

I do have to make one adjustment to the spine portion of the book cover and maybe one slight grammatical fix or two that exist in the first two chapters but beyond that, the book is everything I remember it being.

It brought back memories of when I used to play Mortal Kombat X and Street Fighter V in respect to how following chapters would consist of perspectives of other characters in the story and bringing it full circle near the end in preparation for the next one.

I’m retrospect, I used an element that George R.R. Martin used for his A Song Of Ice and Fire books. That perspective device for chapters is a very useful tool for storytelling.

More will come, I promise you this much. In the meantime, amidst the political stuff happening in recent days, my YouTube channel livestreams will be a safe space for those looking to escape from the high tension that’s happening.

As I’ve recently said in my previous livestreams — 322 is refuge.
