A Risk I Took that I don’t Regret?

Describe a risk you took that you do not regret.

Taking the plunge in a Personal Training certification. I don’t regret it for a moment. I found myself learning things regarding physiology, demands, tolerance and adaptation that I had little clue about until then. Adding the knowledge attained regarding performance enhancement and sports performance, my perception regarding the human body changed to where I can’t perceive it the way the average person does.

It even changed my perception of professional wrestling and having a deeper understanding about the athletic demands involved with what the average person perceived as “soap opera with brawling”. The development once has to make with running the ropes, rebounding from them, the physics and gravity involved with top rope turnbuckle work, timing and varying degrees of cardiovascular development. If we were to speak on every facet of sports development and physical training that’s factored into working professional wrestling, if not for predetermined results and storyline theatrics, one would argue that you can have it as a form of sport.
