It’s quite the day. I likened the passing of this heavily double edged sword (one side heavier than the other) to America entering its Dark Age to my character entering Messmer’s lair in Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree and the result is exactly what my mother once warned me about. Granted, I got over 800 views in that Short but it had one commenter, obviously having no content on their channel and speaking like a true right wing/pro-AI voiced person.
They would go on to post the same comment at least 3 times instead of once, which is a red flag for me. While I appreciate conversation and respectful debate but when they wore down to speaking of illegals like they’re some scourge of humanity or are okay with AI stripping potential income from musicians on Spotify, it’s to where I concluded that this is just yet another internet troll.
Will I delete the exchange? No. I simply don’t accept duplicate comments. At that point, they’re spamming for attention. They’re like a true, basement-dwelling leech in society.
The irony is that I even got this much on 4th of July, a day I didn’t think would produce views for me at all.
But hey, this is America, for better or worse.
