November Rain. Time to Draw & Paint.

October came and went. Sharing my observations of Final Fantasy VII Rebirth was fun as did sharing my progression of FireFrei and Drafts. It also feels nice to be compensated a bit for producing content that adds my personal analysis, observations and commentary. Who would’ve thought that my change in approach resulted in actual bearing of fruit instead of constantly streaming on YouTube or Twitch? I guess there are better ways to express what I’ve been aiming for this whole time.

These coming months will be all about art development and it’s been a long time coming. Working on Gothic Bluety has been fun and as far as her body model coloring, I’m much closer to finish than I thought. Granted, I still have to work on background and background color and shading but I’m confident that won’t be too tricky. Doing her physique justice while using my art style had been the most important aspect and in turn might unleash inspiration for the art I have to work on.

I may have to touch up some chapter art for FireFrei in addition to the book cover but I think it’ll be fairly easy compared to earlier this year or late last year.

As for Drafts? That’s gonna be where I’ll have to dig deep because I’ll not only be doing the art but I’ll be editing the chapters as well. I don’t know what will properly symbolize every chapter in that novel but as I process the editing, I know what will do for it will come to mind. Whether to do full color on those or to do a black and sepia toned combo is one aspect I have up for debate.

I’m just glad that for 2026, writing is complete. Will I use that 12 month plan for the next project? It’s very likely that I will and for a very specific reason — it exposed how, when I’m dedicated to a personal deadline, words are written and upon editing, the story told in that period ends up coming together. I only wish that such a thing has manifested through my life much sooner. As it’s said in the D-Generation X theme song, “Them’s the breaks, little man”.
